Training and Development Coordinator Job at Arrow Child and Family Ministries
The Training & Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting annual and recertification crisis intervention trainings for Maryland programs. The Training & Development Coordinator also assists the Training & Development Specialist in implementing and tracking training initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Conduct required crisis intervention trainings for MD programs, as scheduled with the Training & Development Specialist
- Participate on the Crisis Intervention Workgroup. Assist with scheduling and facilitating meetings, communicating critical information regarding trainings with workgroup and programs, and maintaining a record of meetings.
- Serve as Arrow liaison with crisis intervention vendor to include scheduling certifications for trainers, tracking training records, and communicating updates from vendor to the Arrow trainers
- Assist in tracking and reporting employee training compliance
- Provide support and mentoring for crisis intervention trainers and program leaders in crisis intervention implementation
- Provide feedback to management regarding employee performance in crisis intervention training.
- Completes and maintains certifications, as required (e.g., CANS, ANSA, PCM, TBRI).
- Facilitate other trainings, as required
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and COA standards.
- May be required to drive ACFM vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete Arrow's vehicle training.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not directly supervise staff.

EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one (1) year of previous experience working with youth in a mental health setting and demonstrated mastery of PCM (or similar crisis intervention program) principles and implementation. Experience providing training to adults preferred. Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, mental health, or another related human services field preferred.
