Big Picture: A Trailer Pool Coordinator’s role is to manage the day to day movements and operational duties involved with WFX trailers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, as needed:

• Work with Safety, Operations and Shop Personnel to efficiently manage fleet of 2600 trailers
• Verify and audit trailers daily
• Work with customers and planners to meet needs and maximize efficiency of equipment
• Provide, analyze trailer reports for the organization
• Other daily duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Transportation industry experience preferred, not required
• Assertive personality with good communication skills
• High level of organization skills
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, colleagues, and managers.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills, and to seek and provide creative problem solving, and conflict resolution options.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and company policies.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
