King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is currently seeking a Trademark File Clerk to join our Trial & global Disputes/Intellectual Property/Trademarks Department in Austin, TX. The department offers the opportunity for a File Clerk to join an innovative and collaborative team focused on supporting paralegals and attorneys.

This position performs a variety of duties to assist paralegals and attorneys. Candidates will have the following responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain documents in electronic filing systems
• Label, organize, create physical files and prepare for offsite storage
• Update databases using FileTrail
• Handle and track all shipping needs for team
• Update client contact chart, updating billing information when necessary
• Assist team with various project requests, e.g., compiling reports for client meetings; conducting online research projects; ensuring all Intranet billing codes are updated in PATTSY; confirming all Intranet matters are opened and titled correctly
• Process vendor invoices
• Other duties, as assigned

Successful Candidates are detail oriented, efficient and have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, high volume environment. Candidates should have well-developed Microsoft Office skills, strong skills in Excel and Word, expert knowledge of Adobe and a general knowledge of databases.
