This job description outlines the objective, primary responsibilities and/or requirements and qualifications of the
Marketing & Sales Manager.
Objective:
The Marketing & Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new client leads and closing service calls through cold calling. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with the professional community who are in a position to refer potential clients to the company and through maintaining and developing new marketing methods.
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Senior Helpers
- Identify all local influence centers (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living with rehabilitation or respite care, doctors offices, and other health providers) to determine lead sources
- Develop and manage new lead sources per blueprint and sales strategy
- May need to perform initial client care plans; coordinate with the office staff to ensure client starts in a timely manner
- Personally, visit and arrange meetings with people responsible for or in a position to refer clients, this includes private, public, and non-profit organizations
- Utilizes monthly marketing calendar to coordinate activity with national focus
- Arrange presentations of Senior Helpers services at staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and private companies
- Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events representing Senior Helpers services. Network with others in the industry to develop additional lead sources
- Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, direct mail, print ads, networking, and develop new methods of marketing
- Maintain and manage a Customer Relationships Management (CRM) system Leads and develops a team to exceed established goals to support the implementation of home care services to referral sources and their patients.
- Works closely with senior living communities, hospitals, long term care and subacute rehab facilities to improve their metrics in patient satisfaction
- Ensures client satisfaction at every level, including ensuring a smooth implementation process while being the face of the organization to all clients.
- Manages referral source needs daily and works with clients to add additional services or solutions to support their needs for success.
- Manages relationships from start to finish with strategic partners to ensure mutually benefit outcomes and sustainable long-term growth.
- Conducts qualitative and quantitative strategic business and market evaluations to identify and assess growth opportunities
- Creates numerous marketing programs and sales processes to increase profitability.
- Develops and executes marketing plans to achieve goals by working with KPI, collecting and analyzes data to develop and evaluate sales activity and uses data to prepare weekly and monthly reports for further focus and strategic planning.
- Organizes, executes and presents education for professionals through various in-services and continuing education seminars
Town Square
- Develop and manage new lead sources per sales strategy
- Create opportunities for introductions to Town Square from personal lead base
- Plan events as a draw to current Town Square referral sources and referral sources developed from personal lead base
- Identify all local referral sources (hospitals, assisted living, dementia care support groups, doctors’ offices, senior centers, and other health and support groups) to determine lead sources.
- Arrange presentations of Town Square services at staff meetings in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and all local referral sources, including family support groups and associations
- Visit and arrange meetings with people responsible for, or in a position to refer members.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events, representing Town Square services; network to develop additional lead sources
- Assist with coordinating various marketing methods including direct mail, print ads, and networking, as well as develop new methods or marketing.
- Participate with the entire team in collaborating for growth and advancement of programming
- Collaborate with Regional Center Director, regarding sales activity, forecasting, and established key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain and manage a customer relationships management (CRM) system
- Assist with possible overflow management of inquiry calls, with goal to schedule tours and care meetings.
Enrollment Manager is first point of contact for inquiries, tours, and care meetings
- Collaborate with Center Director to schedule recreational events in the Family Center as a way to provide inviting activities to bring potential members into the center
- Manage promotional/imprinted items inventory and ordering
Qualifications
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
Must demonstrate ability to work strategically with entrepreneurial spirit * Must have excellent phone skills and follow-up skills with prospects and key influence center personnel
- Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
People Toolbox * Minimum of one-year experience in the home health industry developing and managing a sales strategy
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of related work experience strongly preferred
- Proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
- Ability to learn other software programs quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
