Title: Toolmaker (2nd & 3rd Shift) $30.00-$45.00/hour depending on experience
Objective of Position:
Repair and/or manufacture components for dies, devices and or machinery, under the quality and precision requirements required by the user (or by the standard).
Responsibilities and Technical Skills:
- Plans and prepares order documents related to equipment
- Verifies order documents with respect to completeness, functionality and feasibility based on experiences
- Documents production material/equipment; corrects and amends drawings if necessary
- Inspects received parts and initiates rework/adjustments if needed
- Supports the final approval and technical release of the production and test equipment
- Conducts test of production materials/equipment -
- Produces parts with complicated structure and extensive equipment
- Sets-up devices under consideration of operational standards
- Maintains equipment, dismantles deficient equipment and checks it according to nonconformity report
- Conducts and documents repairs
- Adjusts maintenance standards after consultation
- Plans and coordinates allocated repairs after commissioning by the supervisor
- Provides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Quality of work as specified.
- Manufacturing time when performing a job.
- Checkbox (expenses for cutting tools and fastening accessories)
- Compliance with the internal system of the Workshop, individual reports.
- Prioritization, online jobs that put production at risk are a priority.
- Quality in the manufacture of parts.
Education:
- Technical-Journeyman or 4 years experience.
Pay:
- $32.48/hour + $1.50 shift premium
Bonus: This plan provides a financial reward of up to 5% of gross earnings, when plant performance for safety, quality, cost and Delivery meet or exceed the established targets.

ADA Requirement:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Occasional walking and standing. Limited carrying, lifting and climbing or Medium work.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Mostly walking and standing. Medium - heavy carrying, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing and moving objects
