We are hiring a Tool Crib Supervisor to join our team! This position oversees the activities of all production. Monitor safety, manning, scheduling, mentoring, corrective action and problem solving.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Creates P.O.'s, manages vendors, orders essential material
• Receives storeroom commodities and places in correct/ store bin location
• Keeps records of components re-issued and returned by workers
• Prepares daily inventory and requisitions stock as necessary
• Relieves inventory of issuance in AS400 Green screen
• Maintains and creates Mapics numbers
• Prepares and sends out all repairable items, having contact with vendor and even loading items on their trucks
• Rotates and maintain tooling and bolt stores.
• Evaluates the condition of tools and sorts tools returned to the Tool Crib for recycling, re- sharpening or scrapping
• Runs an automatic pre-setter tool measuring machine to automatically measure tool lengths, set bore sizes and inspect tools
• Fills out tooling checkout form to record parts used from the Supply Store
• Assists the Supply Store Attendant to order, receive and issue tools and supplies needed
• Communicates with suppliers to establish minimum/maximum order points.
• Direct supervision of direct hourly employees.
• Monitor daily and weekly schedules in addition to scheduling overtime and weekend work or any schedule changeovers.
• Monitor procedures required to be performed by hourly employees, to ensure consistency.
• Monitor and implement continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives and scrap reduction.
• When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.
• Administrative- Paylocity (attendance) make necessary adjustments, maintain roster, ensure finished product logs are being scanned in SCMS, Enter scrap, and production in computer, shift communication.
• Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the Materials Manager or Plant Manager.

• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with tool crib and buying experience
• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary
