Job Summary: Under the direction of a Tooling Supervisor, the Tool and Die Maker is responsible for repairing dies and making adjustments as needed to run dies in accordance with the customers' standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting
- Perform die set operations
- Perform PM's on metal stamping dies
- Perform quality checks
- Perform other duties as required
- Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customers.

Education / Experience / Skills: High School Education or Equivalent (GED)

Accountabilities: This position reports directly to the Tooling Supervisor who is responsible for their department.

Qualifications:
-Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor preferred.
- Previous experience working as a Die Maker in high automotive manufacturing
- Experience working in an automotive sheet metal stamping facility
- Experience with large transfer and progressive dies a plus
- Able to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon rework
- Standing 8 or more hours, walking to assist in seat build, rework, etc...
- Ability to solve problems and work with support personnel
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must be able to meet the requirements of being able to work in the United States (INS Form I-9).

- Report hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
