JOB DETAILS:

• Conducts extensive research on ownership and verify titles;
• Searches courthouse records and real estate records;
• Summarizes judgments, liens, mortgages;
• Compiles lists of deeds, easements, leases, mortgages, contracts, and other instruments that affect ownership by searching public and private records for law firms, real estate agencies, or title insurance companies;
• Conducts extensive title research, compiling deeds, mortgages, leases, judgments to generate ownership reports, run sheets and/or abstracts;
• Works curative for ongoing acquisitions proficiently
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of one year experience in surface and/or mineral title examination;
• Detail Oriented;
• Uncompromised accuracy;
• Business knowledge and familiarity with surface easement contract law;
• Ability to perform extensive title research, compiling deeds, mortgages, leases, judgments to generate ownership reports, run sheets and/or abstracts;
• Currently have or obtain AAPL Membership
• Genealogy knowledge a plus;

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
