The UPS Store* in Huntington Beach is seeking a part-time (24-32 hours) to full-time center Associate with proven basic computer software knowledge. An ideal candidate must have a minimum 1-year experience in retail, customer service as well as a working knowledge of the latest Microsoft Office and Adobe. Candidate must be an outgoing energetic self-starter with a professional appearance and friendly helpful demeanor. Must also possess excellent computer/internet skills, excellent written and verbal skills, be a team player and have the ability to perform the physical aspects of the job; also the capability of becoming a Notary Public and certified Fingerprint Roller. Candidate must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays if needed.

• Packaging shipments for safe arrival utilizing UPS packaging requirements
• Following UPS standard operating procedures as well as adhering to legal, safety and security policies
• Receive, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately
• Assembles parcels and prepares goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
• Operates the Point of Sale(POS), handles financial transactions and make changes.
• Operate copiers, fax machine, binding equipment, laminator , and cash registers.
• Produce, design and manage logistics of print projects, following through to completion.
• Multi-task while maintaining extreme attention to detail and quality control.
• Open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.
• Maintain knowledge on current and new services and industry trends
• Maintain clean, organized and safe working environment *
• Ensure communications among shifts

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Must have clean Background
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be computer literate with basic functions
• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs
• **Candidate with knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is a plus and will be compensated more for their skills**
• **Must** have a reliable means of transportation

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push and pull 50 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling, bending and stooping
• Standing for long periods throughout schedule day
