JOB SUMMARY

SDI is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support a contract at it's Huntsville, AL Headquarters office. This position will be full-time, in person, and is contingent upon contract award.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be able to support and develop Functional, Performance, and Operational Testing activities to include developing and executing a Test and Evaluation Project Plan (TEPP).
• Be able to produce test requirements, test plans, test procedures for engineering, production, supportability, verification, and integration testing of own hardware, software, and third party components IAW DI-NDTI-80809.
• Develop and produce test / special test equipment and test fixtures for engineering, production, supportability, verification, and integration testing of own hardware, software, and third party components.
• Provide test coordination, data acquisition control, and frequency management information for engineering, production, supportability, verification, and integration testing IAW DI-MISC-81174.
• Perform flight and operation support at CONUS sites as required.
• Conduct and/or support Test and Flight Readiness Reviews (TRR/FRR).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in related field preferred
• Understanding of UAS flight and Army regulation 95-20
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and speaking skills.
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
• Computer skills and proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
