Territory Sales Manager – NUHEAT/RAYCHEM (Residential & Commercial Solutions) Job at nVent

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Establish sales relationships with installing contractors of floor heating, roofing, and gutter deicing systems in the commercial and residential markets in the sales territory of northern IL, MN, WI, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE, KS. The states of ND, SD, NE, and KS will be virtual sales only with no travel.
- Support, bring value, and solutions to the installing contractor to establish a relationship and repeat customer for our NUHEAT and RAYCHEM products.
- Identify potential marketplace opportunities and develop new installing contractor accounts.
- Establish and conduct hands-on product training programs and installation demonstrations with our customers, the installing contractors, throughout the sales territory.
- Develop sales plans, submit monthly sales plans, and meet sales activity based metrics, for the business.
- Work with and alongside our Manufactures Rep network
- Work with the Marketing team to carry out promotional campaigns with our authorized distribution network throughout the sales territory.
YOU HAVE:
- Undergraduate degree an asset with ideally 5+ years of outside sales experience across multiple states.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time and work from home office.
- Experience working with manufacturers or distributors and contractors in the region is an asset.
- Understanding and background within the Residential and Commercial Construction market an asset.
- Electric Floor Heating or Electric Heat Trace experience ideal.
- Experience with salesforce.com is ideal or a similar CRM tool.
