Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Install Sales Manager, US, this individual will be responsible for business management and sales of Bose Professional solutions in Install and Conferencing categories throughout Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Their efforts will largely focus on the major metropolitan areas in the region.
They will be responsible for driving attainment of strategic goals by perfecting the mix of new business development and growing existing, legacy business. Following global, national, and local strategies to lead the territory, this individual works within the coordinated Americas Professional Systems Group Team to support all markets and distribution models to acquire strategic and revenue objectives
.
The position is supported by Regional Sales Engineering, Business Development, Distribution Team, Inside Sales, Order to Cash, and Pro Technical Support.
Specific Qualifications

Territory Knowledge

Understanding of the key integrator, consultant, distributor and end-user partners in the market.

Based on existing relationships and established trust, be able to engage, discuss and drive business opportunities with these regional partners.

Understanding of the importance of business planning, strategic engagement, and future actions to develop customers.

Based on past performance, be able to explain, initiate and implement customer-specific growth plans.

Technical Competence

Understanding of Bose Install and Conferencing solutions and the ability to demonstrate these products in presentations.

Based on career experience, be able to explain and demonstrate application- and vertical-specific solutions to a technical audience.

Understanding of how to develop business in the integration, consultant, and end-user channels using various tools and resources.

Ability to create and develop new partnerships with an emphasis on end-user relationship building in major metropolitan markets.

Understanding that APSG is a sales organization, and that revenue attainment is an important component of the overall business health.

Role Requirements

Hard-working individual who works well in both team and entrepreneurial environments.

Eight to ten years sales experience in the Commercial and Professional Audio industry.

Strong existing relationships with industry partners and targets in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, both internal and external.

Average 3-4 days per week travel within the region.

Microsoft Office and CRM platform experience.
