Avid is seeking an experienced Territory Account Manager to lead and continue to expand the business with one of our most innovative customers in the Northeast geography.
The Territory Account Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction to our highly visible and important customers. You will build and maintain broad relationships in your assigned account, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a large team of extended resources in a collaborative way.
Responsibilities
  • You are managing several Named Accounts within the Northeast territory, mostly the current installed base, and a few prospect accounts.
  • You are responsible for teaming with all aspects of the customer's organization, including executives, engineering, business owners, legal, and others.
  • You sell at the most strategic level within the account and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • You work with all appropriate Avid resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Pre-Sales, Business Generations, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services) to support customer interests, and understand how to strongly advocate for your customer and balance that with the business needs of Avid.
  • Metrics include meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets, as well as forecasting with a +/- 5% accuracy.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent work experience.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working at a technology company as the account and relationship manager of a large territory.
  • Must be located in the Northeast area.
  • A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 5+ years of enterprise selling experience. Other experiences include experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; ability to navigate across Avid and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach; and establishing credibility quickly with senior-level executives across the organizations.
  • You know how to use SFDC.
  • A strong understanding of Avid and/or technology as a service (Subscription and SaaS)
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, required to build relationships across assigned accounts include creative thinking, articulating a clear vision, and generating enthusiasm to impact all business groups.
