Support office operations such as routine clerical duties (maintaining record keeping, electronic filing systems and/or databases)Responds to inquiries and provides information about program rules policies, regulations or procedures Establish and maintain records and filesAnswer questions via phone, email, online chat, and in person providing good customer serviceSupport office functions such as copying materials, filing documents, distributing mail and other office materialsPrepares correspondence and spreadsheetsOther duties as assigned of a similar nature and level
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: GED OR High School DiplomaOne (1) year of experience providing assistance to clients/customersKNOWLEDGE OF/ SKILL IN: Fostering a climate of equity and belonging through multicultural awareness and responsivenessAbility to professionally interact with a diverse population of students, staff and faculty Ability to work calmly under pressure and deal effectively with upset individualsReliability, punctuality and ability to use discretion in decision making processesAbility to work individually and as a team member to provide excellent customer serviceAbility to effectively communicate in both oral and written English
