Title: Telecom Implementation Manager

Pay range: $50 – $60/ hour on W2 (Without Benefits)

Job Description:

• The contractor will assist with implementing a new phone system for our Retail Stores.
• They will coordinate the implementation with the site support personal, ensure the equipment is ordered and delivered, and assist with redirecting inbound phone numbers.
• They will provide technical and best practices to the support personnel that are on-site and implementing the phone system.
• We have 400 stores to complete this year.
• Our Open-Source Telephony project is a multiyear project to convert all 2750 Retail stores to OST.
• We receive capital funding each year for this project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages all phases of telephony implementation and processes to ensure end user satisfaction, project continuity and the timely delivery of services.
• Participates in weekly and monthly telecom meetings to provide input on implementation procedures. Answer questions pertaining to Open-Source Telephony configuration and features.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of site implementation.
• Responsible for assisting with configuration of telephone, voicemail, and call flows.
• Responsible for managing equipment procurement and delivery.
• Responsible for coordinating the ordering and porting of DID numbers.
• Responsible for the project’s commitment to quality
• Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of processes & customer satisfaction and optimization.
• Must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication and be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
