Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $37,980.80 - $42,140.80
Hourly Pay Range: $18.26 - $20.26
Note: Salary can vary depending upon education, experience, or qualifications.

Position Summary: The reassignment of tasks includes the systems administration of the CCURE application for managing Access Card Readers for State Agencies in support of the Capital Police Monitoring Center; working with I.T. Vendors and performing procurement tasks using SMART for the I.T. Department; managing and troubleshooting cell phones; performing system administration task for the mobile device management application.
This is routine technical work advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment. Work involves supporting computer and storage hardware, system software, and commercial office automation software packages. Work may include assisting in the planning, installation, and operation of microcomputer local area (LAN) or wide area (WAN) networks or providing all technical support for a limited network requiring minor maintenance. Conducts in-house training on hardware and software products. Work includes the installation of hardware and software and demonstrating hardware and software to computer users in classroom and one-on-one situations. Will be responsible to keep activities current, such as scheduling, and monitoring ITEC policies, service calls and vendor meetings. This position must utilize a depth of knowledge for analysis, judgement and interpretation needed to perform their duties. Will provide application support of Capital Complex access control and video surveillance software that include: C-Cure 9000 and FLIR Latitude VMS.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Works troubles calls, prioritizing a response, and dispatching to the appropriate technicians. Mobile Device Management. Enter Purchase requests into SMART.

Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Licensing: Valid Driver’s License

Minimum Qualifications – REQUIRED: Six months advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Ability to drive a vehicle, lift computer equipment and other objects up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, stoop, reach with your body, arms and/or legs, perform repetitive motions with one or more extremity, move in confined areas and sit for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications: Excellent understanding of server/network/LAN/WAN configuration of Microsoft systems and knowledge of information security concepts.

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Must submit to and pass a thorough background investigation including fingerprints. Regular, reliable, dependable, performance is an essential function.
