This position is located at Vandenberg AFB, CA.
This position is not eligible for telecommuting
Essential Functions
- Operate and Maintain (O&M) of assigned Prime Mission Equipment (PME) for the Ground Station, Real-time Recorders, TADS (Telemetry Antenna Designating System) and Quick Look stations
- Perform maintenance, equipment/system status reporting, configuration control and logistics duties in accordance with the Integrated Organizational and Depot Maintenance Plan (IODMP) and related LISC Operating Instructions (LOI)
- Document all corrective and preventative maintenance using the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
- Pre-launch, launch and post-launch operational support in accordance with documented O&M directives is required
- Perform day to day tasks as directed
- Complete assigned training in a timely manner to establish a level of proficiency and certification essential for mission support
- Adhere to established policies and procedures pertaining to job site safety and security
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and logic circuitry diagrams
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Required Experience
- Two years of technical school, equivalent military experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) or more years related technical experience or two (2) years performing as a qualified 4U Technician on the LISC contract with demonstrated performance through completed EQRs or applicable work center assessments that are significant to operational support
- Proficient experience with troubleshooting and electronic hardware and associated support equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
- Two years Telemetry experience in Telemetry is preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and ranges from $23.77 to $29.67. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
