Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly motivated entry-level employee to join our environmental team in our Butte, Montana office. What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?
Duties will include site inspections, surface water and groundwater sample collection, monitoring equipment inspection and maintenance, data gathering, contractor and sub-contractor oversight, health and safety program compliance, data management and evaluation (spreadsheet and database), and report writing.
What do you need to succeed?
- Minimum education required: High school diploma.
- 0-3 years’ experience in the environmental field.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Access and database software preferred.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and OSHA compliance programs.
- 40-hour OSHA training is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be self-motivated, creative, and willing to work collaboratively.

Compensation
Pay:
This position’s anticipated pay range is provided below; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
Annual Incentive Bonus Opportunity:
Eligible positions may receive an annual cash bonus based on the role’s organizational level, and is represented as a percentage range of eligible earnings**

$18.91 - $28.36

Vacation time is provided to full and part-time regular employees. Vacation is accrued, based on number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.
