You'll be working with medical documentation preparation to include gathering patient records and evaluating those records for program qualifications. There is patient interaction to document history and status to establish direction for case management. Data management and system population are part of the job. This is a keep the projects moving position.

Your communication skills, both written and oral, along with computer skills need to be strong. Once you know the system, you will be able to absolutely perform and have an impactful experience for yourself and the lives of the patients. Training will be provided on site.

Qualifications:

We’re seeking someone who is warm, friendly, and enjoys working in groups and independently. Successful Technical Writers meet the below requirements:

· Communicates well and is confident yet warm with their presentation.

· You will be dealing with a lot of medical records - experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.

· Must have exceptional attention to detail and be task oriented. Follow up and follow through is key in this position.

· Has excellent reading, writing, and computer skills. A large portion of your time will be spent drafting initial claim paperwork including Causation letters, several different response letters, and, in some cases, terminal paperwork.

· Has a sharp memory with strong analytical capacity.

· Must have and follow a well-developed value system, is extremely loyal, and interested in making a difference for our patients and their families.

· Must have great interpersonal skills and be a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
