Job details:
Summary: Reviews instruction manuals and other documents for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and revision accuracy. Maintain file storage libraries, records, and task lists. File documents electronically, prints documents for distribution. Take and edit photos and videos. Edits manuals, updates or creates images for manuals.
Job Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives assignment from supervisor.
- Review and update manuals and other documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting accuracy.
- Read and evaluate engineering change orders for manual revisions. Record information onto appropriate task list.
- Follow production schedules to print and prepare documents for customer distribution.
- Organize, compare, and maintain file storage libraries, document records, and task lists.
- Compare manual parts lists to blueprints for revision changes. Check manual parts lists to drawing balloons for accuracy.
- Update manuals for engineering changes, or other edits, updating or creating accurate images, parts lists, and instructions, as needed.
- Take and edit photos and videos of equipment, parts, or procedures.
- Work independently or collaboratively on projects as required.

Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of SAE Standards and Government requirements.
