JOB DESCRIPTION: Technical Support Specialist - Automotive

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Support Specialist reports directly to the Technical Support Manager. The role of the Technical Support Specialist is to assist our customers effectively and efficiently with their concerns. Provide each of our customers with a positive experience based on product knowledge and a desire to resolve their concerns.

  • Answering Technical Support calls.
  • Data entry and feedback resulting from each call.
  • Replying to Technical/Customer Support concerns via Direct call, email, or other means of communication.
  • Collaborate with Testing and Product teams to stay current on all products and services.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma [degree preferred]
  • Call center work [sales experience is a plus]
  • One year of Automotive Service Experience (ASE Certification a plus)
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, and Office 365.

PERSONAL SKILLS
The Technical Support Specialist must be comfortable working through technical situations.

  • Must have superior customer service skills.
  • Must have strong sense of urgency and desire to resolve customer concerns efficiently
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Must be well organized, able to multi-task, and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish or French a plus.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have dependable transportation.
  • A valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.

WORK REQUIREMENT
This is a 40-to-45-hour, On-site full-time position & includes working remotely one or more Saturdays per month.
Current customer support hours are 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday, 8am – 4pm Saturday.
