Technical Support Advisor - Hybrid Job at The Cigna Group
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
Must be analytical, flexible in a fast paced environment, quick study (learning Fusion system & process standards in complex environment), have some background in data center technologies.
KEY OBJECTIVE
Working within a highly collaborative team setting, the Technical Support Advisor is responsible for the facilitation of technical Disaster Recovery activities across IT, including requirements gathering for the development of technical Application and Infrastructure Disaster Recovery Plans; creation and maintenance of the plans in the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning system; identification and validation of critical dependencies; working with the ASG and ISG teams to enhance their level of engagement toward reaching the goal of Cigna Business Resiliency.
This role has a primary responsibility to collaborate with the internal Cigna organizations and ensure all recovery objectives are documented and recoverable in a cost effective and timely manner. Following the initial documentation of critical application and infrastructure components continued collaboration is required to maintain the credibility of plans. This maintenance component includes active participation in the annual validation testing of each plan, identification and remediation of gaps during and immediately following the validation testing, awareness and inclusion of upgrades that have a material impact on the recovery plan as well as plan owner and coordinator approvals on all documentation changes.
As a member of the DR Team, you will be expected to actively participate in the ongoing collaboration sessions and provide recommendations to streamline processes and procedures, optimize resources and improve the reliability and delivery of disaster recovery services.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and ongoing maintenance of Application and/or Infrastructure DR Recovery Plans with the ASG and ISG Plan Owners and Coordinators
Continuous maturing of the Disaster Recovery Plans including optimized usability at time of disaster; plans across the DR portfolio reflect current, complete, accurate requirements at all times. “Shelf Ready”
Support of Disaster Recovery Exercises as outlined on the annual Exercise roadmap.
Relationship building and close collaboration within DR Team and across IT, ISG and ASG organizations
Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative team environment, as well as independently in taking initiative and leadership in moving objectives forward
Contributes to ”lean” process improvement engineering of critical DR activities and work flows
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrates an understanding and use of Project Management core concepts and tools. PM certification is a plus.
Must have a minimum of 3 years previous work experience in a highly technical datacenter focused environment
Understanding of key concepts regarding Infrastructure and Data Center Organizations, technology platforms and services, Application Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Hands-on experience supporting activities within the Application SDLC, and/or IT Infrastructure technologies
Ability to switch gears comfortably as needed within a fast-paced environment
Ability to successfully multi-task to keep projects and activities moving forward and on track to meet and/or exceed goals of the team
Strong analytical, and problem solving skills
Communicates effectively both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on strong Excel skills
Strong keyboarding skills. Comfortable navigating systems. Experienced in data entry.
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships within a large matrix of stakeholders
Knowledge of and/or experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
