We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sales Representative for our Northeast region primarily focused on the Tri-State area for our architecturally specified facade product. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Architectural & Design community. The position is home based, with SPI corporate office located in Marble Falls, TX.

In this role, you will be required to develop new customers, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations.

To ensure success as a technical sales representative, you should have strong knowledge of façade building products, a passion for sales, and the ability to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

· Demonstrated ability to display and articulate product benefits to building owners, façade consultants, architects, construction management, general contractors, and installation groups.

· Market development by increasing product awareness resulting in business opportunities and sales growth.

· Conduct product presentations, Architectural Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) and educate potential clients to obtain favorable product specifications.

· Sales Pipeline Management utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

· Attend relevant events and networking opportunities.

· Effective proven communication in managing customer relationships and expectations

· Present product pricing and proposal models.

· Travel Expectation – 50-75% in field

· Schedule meetings and plan travel effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

· Ability to read and understand construction specifications and drawings.

· Computer literacy and ability to learn new technology.

· Committed to providing quality, time sensitive information in a team environment

Work Experience and Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or construction management or equivalent experience in a related field.

· Prior experience selling an architectural specific or building façade product a plus.
