Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Technical Outreach Manager to join its Outreach & Communications department. The Technical Outreach Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and content creation support for the development and implementation of moderately complex outreach and communication materials.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with business leaders to identify and prioritize business objectives
- Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiencies of communication plans, outreach strategies, copy and materials
- Recommending outreach strategies and creative engagement plans
- Collaborating with technical and operational teams to create and repurpose compelling content
- Researching, writing, editing and reviewing existing content for traditional and digital communications
- Leading a diverse group of outreach and communications professionals in their efforts to effectively engage a technologically sophisticated audience
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using Wolfram Language or Mathematica
- A good understanding of social media and what most corporate marketing departments get wrong
- Ability to demonstrate a nuanced understanding of the variety of roles our technology stack can play in education, research and commercial applications
- Excellent organization and the ability to effectively work remotely with a geo-distributed team
