Summary of Position

Level-1 Requires consistent supervision while setting up the technical systems on active projects. Direct and assist Startup Technicians with operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, functional testing of provided software applications. Integration support, BAS global logic, development of site-specific Graphical User Interface, assisting/mentoring team members of a lower level, reading and updating project documentation, and mechanical blueprints as required for final documentation on active projects.

Level-2 Requires minimal supervision while setting up the technical systems on active projects. Direct and assist Startup Technicians with operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, functional testing of provided software applications. Integration support, BAS global logic, development of site-specific Graphical User Interface, assisting/mentoring team members of a lower level, reading and updating project documentation, and mechanical blueprints as required for final documentation on active projects.

Level-4 Requires no supervision while setting up the technical systems on multiple active projects. Direct and assist Startup Technicians with operational checkout and calibration of provided controller applications and hardware, functional testing of provided software applications. Integration support, BAS global logic, development of site-specific Graphical User Interface, assisting/mentoring team members of a lower level, reading and updating project documentation, and mechanical blueprints as required for final documentation on active projects. The team member must also be able to identify and assist with change order opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Proactively work in a safe manner in the context of performing the functions of your position.
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is always 100%.
  • Interact with customers and contractors as required.
  • Coordinate with project managers to meet the needs of all projects.
  • Provide assistance to others as needed.
  • Reading Blueprints and other construction documents
  • Provide status reports of work related to any project involvement.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Computer Networking knowledge
  • BAS controller programming
  • BAS Graphical User Interface programming

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Must possess documented experience/training on various systems and controls. Experience with HVAC equipment repair/maintenance is preferred. Strong computer skills are necessary for Level 1-4. Must be able to work without constant supervision, make reliable decisions, have good judgment, and have knowledge of safety procedures. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize based on departmental functions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Good interpersonal skills required with strong communication and organization skills. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
