We are looking for a technical co-founder who is passionate about building innovative software products and leading a team of engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the business, working closely with the CEO to shape the product roadmap, and leading the development of our software platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the technical strategy for the company
- Manage the engineering team and oversee the development process
- Work with the CEO to define and prioritize the product roadmap
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure software systems
- Code, test, and deploy software to production environments
- Implement and maintain software development processes and standards
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on the adoption
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in software development, including experience in a leadership role
- Expertise in software architecture and design patterns
- Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages (such as Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Experience building scalable, distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (such as AWS or Azure)
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and on budget
- Experience in startups or early-stage companies is a plus
