AJG Corporate Systems (CS) provides global financial applications development and support for AJG's Finance and Accounting departments, including compliance for legal and audit. AJG CS also includes an enterprise level Business Intelligence (BI) Competency Center (BICC) to provide expertise for management analysis, reporting and planning technologies and solutions. AJG CS core solutions are comprised of Oracle/JD Edwards ERP/Finance, Cognos and Sharepoint applications in addition to number of integrated third party and internal package solutions.

Role and Responsibilities
This position is for a responsible and dedicated candidate who can support our NonStop HP systems and the applications that run on it. Candidate will have to:
- Candidate would be expected to evaluate system patches as they become available to determine if they are needed or applicable to our environment.
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, document, write and update maintenance procedures for our systems, communications environments, disk and tape storage systems and software
- Work with our development groups to ensure that new programs are installed correctly
- Monitor our systems' performance and capacity to ensure that they run efficiently and that any problems are avoided
- Monitor, troubleshoot, document, test and support our D/R systems and plans
- Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction
- Monitor our business applications (RISXFACS) and troubleshoot problems that come up with them or with the systems that connect to it
- Design and implement system security and data assurance
- Develop and maintain scripts that make repetitive tasks more reliable
- Create and maintain flowcharts, diagrams, instruction guides and other documentation that can be used by our Operations Staff in monitoring our systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot our many batch jobs, file transfers (Axway Secure Transport and T2K) and system monitoring tools (MOMI, The View)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Candidate is expected to have five (5) plus years of experience working with HP NonStop systems, sub-systems, utilities and tools; including:
- Experience running the OSM console, using DSM/SCM and ZPHIRNM to do a SYSGEN build and apply
- Coldload experience
- Backup and Restore using Mediacom, Virtual Tape Repository (VTR) , and labeled tapes
- Advanced Spooler configurations and management
- TMF, AutoTMF, file synchronization, TMF Recovery of files
- NS-SQL database experience, partitioned files, Enscribe files, Guardian file system utilities, FUP, SCF, etc...
- Netbatch scheduler experience
- Experience supporting large scale Pathway applications in a client/server environment
- Expand, Expand over Ethernet and Servernet experience
- Guardian file system security and Safeguard experience
- Experience configuring, monitoring with HP's Nonstop system's CLIMs, storage and network
- TACL scripting experience
Nice to Have Skills
- Excellent communications skills, the ability to explain technical problems to non-technical users and management
- Experience with Comforte connectivity products, T2K, OutsideView, Cail and The View
- Experience with Attalla encryption devices
- Experience with TCPIP, LANs and network connectivity problems
- Experience with RDF, ShadowBase, and disaster recovery solutions
- Excellent knowledge of application functions and how to troubleshoot application problems
