Team Member/Cashier Job at Ridgway Conoco
We are looking for a friendly and professional Team Member/Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Ideal applicants would have previous experience with customer service in a retail environment.
Job Duties
- Provide prompt and courteous service, including greeting customers.
- Operate cash register system accurately and efficiently.
- Perform shift opening and/or closing paperwork, including lottery counts.
- Must stock and re-stock shelves, replenishing product in shelving, coolers and hot food area.
- Assist with deli food preparation and cleanup as needed.
- Regular cleaning of restrooms, counters, floors, equipment, gas pumps and organizing shelves.
- Perform additional duties as needed, including exchanging propane tanks or maintaining the car wash.
Qualifications & Experience
- Highly motivated self-starter, who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Good math skills, strong communication and time management skills.
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
- Familiarity with cash register and POS.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay is dependent on experience.
