You have experience with more than just the basics in tax, and you’re eager to learn and take on new challenges. You work hard, know your stuff, and deserve to be recognized for it. Most importantly, you are ready to assume leadership and planning responsibilities with client engagements.
About the Job: We’re more than just CPAs, we’re insightful problem solvers and trusted advisors. Howard wants to hire a thoughtful leader, interested in expanding their knowledge of tax preparation by taking on more complex returns, while reviewing simple returns and providing review points for other team members. You will work collaboratively with the planning team, using available resources to research complicated tax matters and demonstrate initiative regarding various client responsibilities.
Our next Tax Senior will come up with new and innovative solutions to client issues, display a mastery of time management and organizational skills, and be involved with client billing functions. They are interested in firm initiatives as well, understanding that involvement will only supplement their development. We will hire someone who is as comfortable working independently as collaboratively, who communicates easily with all team members, accepts feedback and critique as tools to improve, and most of all is ready to grow into an exceptional and critical member of our leadership team.

Public Accounting experience in the 3–5-year range is ideal for the success of this individual. We intend to move quickly while remaining intentional in our hiring process, so you will need to demonstrate ability to think creatively, deliberate clearly, move decisively, and have patience and show adaptability when faced with roadblocks.
