We are currently looking for a CPA/CPA Candidate who is ready to take the next step in their career. Candidates preferably would have experience in tax preparation with compilation and review experience a plus. Will consider remote applicants with public accounting experience greater than 4 years.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor / Master's degree in Accounting
- CPA License/ CPA Candidate with license expected in a year
- Experience in public accounting, preferred
- Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Ultra Tax and other Thomson Reuters Suite Programs
- Research Skills
- Experience dealing with IRS
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong working relationship with Partner and become an active contributor to the overall client development and growth of the practice
- Complete compilation and reviewed financial statement engagements
- Research and apply new pronouncements
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Review of personal and corporate tax returns prepared by other firm members (depending on experience level)
- Respond to tax notices, preparation of correspondence
- Tax and accounting research projects, staff supervision and training
