Tank Trailer Mechanic Job at Andrews Logistics
Andrews Logistics LLC is a Family owned Equal Opportunity Employer with terminals throughout the United States servicing the US, Mexico and Canada. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to repair equipment in a safe and timely manner.
Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting Federal FHWA Preventive maintenance inspections of trailers and extensive repairs in all phases. including body, frame, suspension, electrical, value and air systems.
- Perform HazMat Inspections on tank trailers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance service.
- Repair may include welding.
- Operate a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed.
- A desire to put in a full day's work using both skill and efficiency
- Honesty and Integrity
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- ASE certification is not required but recommended.
- The employee is required to provide their own hand tools.
