We are currently seeking a professional, compassionate and driven Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing team in the HR Department. Flexible hours are provided. Our offices are located at 33 West 60th Street, New York, NY 10023 (10th Floor) and our mental clinic is located at 2825 Third Avenue, Bronx, New York 10455 (Suite 402). This position will report to the Director, Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the screening and interviewing process
- Identify and source qualified talent for open positions
- Schedule and conduct phone screens and interviews virtually and in person
- Collect feedback from hiring managers;
- Collaborate with Human Resources team to develop specific recruiting plans and other HR initiatives
- Manage all job boards and job postings
- Collaborate with Indeed, Glassdoor and Linkedin to ensure attractive branding content and languages are used to attract talent
- Identify, attract and source talent using different niche channels and social platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and other platforms
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with school partners and professional networks
- Tracks weekly, monthly and quarterly recruitment metrics as well as KPI’s
- Completes recruitment dashboard and presents finding during weekly leadership calls
- Presents job offers to qualified candidates after the interview process and assist with the new hire onboarding process included but not limited to background checks, collecting personnel files and organizing and conducting HR orientation
- Manage all retention initiatives to ensure overall employee job satisfaction and professional growth
- Conducts quarterly focus groups with key staff identified by senior management
- Collaborates with Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager on various projects when needed
- Adhere to HR laws, rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience; knowledge of recruiting practices and techniques
- Proficiency Google Suite, MS Suite, and some ATS system
- Effective talent acquisition, recruitment and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to HR including EEOC and FLSA
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and works well under pressure
- Detail oriented, accountable, and trustworthy
- Must be passionate about working with underserved communities and possess a high level of communication, professional and interpersonal skills
- Drivers license and ability to travel to Bronx Clinic
Working Conditions
This position might require travel to our mental health clinic in the Bronx on an as needed basis. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair and office supplies will be provided.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak on the phone or on a computer throughout the day, stand and sit for an extended period of time and be able to write and answer emails in addition to carrying objects no greater than 50 pounds, when needed.
