Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Tableau Administrator (IT Development Engineer III) for day-to-day operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Tableau Server. This position will be expected to work closely with our business partners to encourage the use of best practices when developing dashboards and data extracts. This position will be responsible to support business analyst community with their dashboards and reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all aspects of the operation of the Tableau Server.
• Plans, tests, and performs necessary upgrades to the Tableau Server application.
• Works closely with our business partners to encourage the use of best practices when developing dashboards and data extracts.
• Takes the lead in identifying and resolving issues which impact usage of the server. Works with NetOps, Security and other teams and with Tableau Support to remediate the problem.
• Uses various tools to monitor the Tableau environment to ensure the best performance possible minimizing system down times
• Proactively monitors the server for long running queries/jobs/extracts, identify bottle necks and propose solutions for optimization.
• Tests and enables newer Tableau features as and when available.
• Creates dashboards for internal IT for monitoring system, usage of cloud services, audit, metrics, etc.
• Creates technical documentation as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• 4+ years of experience using Tableau with an emphasis on Tableau Server. Experience in a multi-mode environment is a plus.
• A strong working knowledge of the Tableau Desktop dashboard development cycle
• Familiarity with building dashboards/reports using Tableau or Power BI
• Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing all available tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Able to work with business partners from various parts of the company.
• Strong SQL Coding skills
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with competing priorities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ETL is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
• Exposure to Snowflake is a plus.
• Understanding of API Testing methodologies and toolsets such as ReadyAPI, LoadUI, Postman, Dredd, or other API governance and testing tools
