Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) in Bethesda, MD is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to oversee our Amazon Web Services cloud environments for Federal information systems. This position will report to the Director of Technology and work closely with the Security Administrator, Project Managers, and Development Team.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide system administration oversight and management for 10 websites hosted on AWS and AWS GovCloud.
• Oversee and administer AWS accounts including establishing new GovCloud accounts, managing and auditing accounts and access, implementing MFA, making suggestions for improvements in efficiency and performance, and tracking detailed costs per account.
• Configuring and managing a variety of AWS cloud services including but not limited to Security Hub, Audit Manager, WAF, EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SES, Lambda, EFS, Elastic Beanstalk, and Cloud Formation.
• Create, harden, update, and manage servers in the Windows Server, Linux, and Ubuntu operating system environments.
• Make configuration changes and create documentation and artifacts per NIST and FISMA standards.
• Work closely with the Security Administrator and Development Team to meet Federal requirements for IT systems.
