Description:

Assist with system administration, system security, system configuration, issue resolution, data mining and testing activities

May lead small to medium projects

Interacts with external and internal clients as needed

Prepares proposals for the business owner’s review

Translates requirements of the client into highly technical specifications

Keeps his/her knowledge up to date with technical sector developments in the industry

Assist in making formal presentations to project teams on accomplishments, issues and solution alternatives

All work activities including projects, trouble calls, customer requests and customer change requests regarding computer hardware, computer software, application software, networking and telecommunications will be entered into the SDPlus system accurately and in a timely manner

Experience/Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred

3+ years of experience in Information Technology or equivalent experience in job related field

Experience in Healthcare IT is preferred

Must possess the ability to develop, organize and prepare a project plan

Must possess an intermediate understanding of SDLC (System Design Life Cycle), business process analytical skills, relational database concepts, system configuration and design, programming concepts, Microsoft desktop and server technologies, Microsoft Office Suite
