SageSure, the insurance first, tech-forward, capital-lite managing general underwriter that focuses on the underserved, preferred homeowners middle-market, is seeking an Systems Admin II.

This individual contributor is primarily responsible for monitoring and managing our core technical applications, assisting in the implementation of hardware and software changes, and communicating relevant system performance and procedural information.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supports user accounts, network or system rights, and access to systems and equipment by following policies, procedures, and tools
  • Administers application and hosted services roles, accounts, credentials, configuration, and backups
  • Configures, implements, supports, and manages Microsoft 365 Suite applications and services applications within the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Evaluates, tests, and implements new applications and cloud hosted services
  • Participate in creating efficiencies using automation to implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
  • Conducts auditing of application access, inventory of software, hardware, and licenses
  • Supports the routine maintenance, modification, and documentation of applications
  • Participates in efforts to implement application and OS updates to include upgrades, patches, and new releases
  • Supports the installation, upgrade, or decommissioning of designated systems, products, and infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members
  • Uses integration tools allowing for the seamless transmission of data from disparate systems
  • Provides Tier/Level 2 technical support for Desktop Support team and escalation to third party provider support
  • Provide after-hours support for applications level related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
  • Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
  • Interact with staff at the technical level as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology computer science, or a related field of study, and 7-10 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows OS, MacOS & Apple iOS
  • Strong knowledge and skills supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk)
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes
  • Basic networking skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to continuously prioritize, multitask efficiently and work independently

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • CompTIA's Network +, Security + Certifications
  • Microsoft 365 Certifications
