Job Summary: Information Technology (IT) is located in the Log Cabin building in the Hibernation House parking lot. Support a wide array of resort industry software products including but not limited to RTP, Procard, Streamline, Ascent 360, the Microsoft suite including Teams, Sharepoint and Power BI.
Job Relationships:
- Reports to: IT Manager
- Employees Supervised: None
- Interdepartmental Relations: Works with all departments, consultants and suppliers.
Job Specifications:
Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and assist users.- Four-year degree or an associate’s degree in Information Technology/Support or equivalent experience in software support required.
- RTP (Active Network) setup and configuration abilities desired.
- SQL programming skills required including new development and repairs.
- SQL reporting and Power BI report generation skills required.
- Ability to learn resort industry specific applications.
- Knowledge of and experience installing and maintaining Microsoft applications.
- Experience with mobile applications such as Android and Apple.
- VOIP telephone configuration and troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical procedures involving applications to non-technical staff.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be adaptable and accept change easily.
- Must be flexible with work schedule for department needs.
- Job requires working some weekends, holidays and possibly overtime during peak demand periods.
- Must work well in a team environment but be able to solve problems and research independently.
- Must demonstrate leadership through good judgment and decision making skills that result in high levels of user satisfaction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience in training technical knowledge and documenting technical requirements.
- Use of company vehicle in the performance of daily duties.
- Per WSI Vehicle Insurance standards: must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to be added to WSI’s vehicle insurance policy.
- Subject to WSI’s Alcohol and Controlled Substance Abuse Policy based on the nature of the position and related duties.
Specific Duties:
Support Software Rollouts and Maintenance
- Lead software installation projects including research, implementation and repair.
- Maintain quality documentation of software capabilities and hardware requirements.
- Maintain user permission/accounts for software applications as needed.
- Point of contact for software assistance for users.
- Identify and research productivity projects for individual departments as requested.
- Assist with implementation of internal departmental projects.
Safety & Wellness:
All team members must be on constant alert for any unsafe conditions and work behaviors. This will involve, but not be limited to, periodic inspections of work and public areas.
Work Environment:
- Requires extended periods of being seated for computer keyboard use and viewing a computer monitor.
- Light physical activity required by handling objects 10-20 pounds infrequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Requires moderate physical activity to include constant bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs and stretching on a frequent basis.
- Non-smoking environment.
- Ability to access computer equipment for set-up and repair in inconvenient locations requiring bending and stooping body movements in order to accomplish the task.
- Ability to work under varying weather conditions, often extreme in nature.
- Special requirements include participating in transportation, setup, and removal of computer equipment for both off-site and onsite events and training.
- Off hours availability in support of events or software related emergencies.
