Position: System Administrators/ Network Analysts

Duration: 6+ months

Location: 1560 Broadway, Suite 1550 Denver, Colorado 80202

Client is looking to consolidate server/system information from multiple spreadsheets into a single Configuration Management system. This effort witll require documentation and information gathering and analysis relating to servers and other infrastructure.

The existing documents need to be consolidated, and then maintained and updated during the transition

This is both a Linux and Windows Sysadmin position, although Windows is the vast majority. - The interview process will be no more than 1, possibly 2, interviews with the hiring manager and team. - This is for a particular project, but an extensive one with similar projects following behind. A potential for extension exists, but is no more than a potential at this point. - This is almost entirely system, very little networking. - The possibility of travel exists, but is very slim. In case of need, it could be anywhere in the State where OIT and other agencies have facilities, which is essentially anywhere in the state. No, it will not be limited to a 25 mile radius. Hopefully this answers most questions, let me know if I can clarify more.

The requirements are as follows:

· Have excellent command of Excel, Google, or other similar spreadsheet applications.

· Ability to navigate Windows and Linus servers for the purpose of gathering information about basic configuration such as server names, network addresses, running processes, and others.

· Ability to physically interact with enterprise-class hardware in a data center setting for the purpose of gathering information about connectivity, access, location, and others.

· Basic Vmware vCenter skills.

· Ability to analyze and interpret the collected data to provide counts, trends, and suggestions.

· Social skills to interact with users at many levels in order to provide or gather information.

· Excellent written skills to produce reports.
