System Administrator Job at Grey Matters Defense Solutions
Grey Matters Defense Solutions is looking for a talented System Administrator to help us administer and configure an integrated software solution for the Department of Defense. We are looking for candidates who are committed to working as part of a highly collaborative team and also reliably perform independently. The candidate will support a hybrid Windows/Linux environment and support office environment as well as work-from-home employees as well as provide assistance integrating DevOps applications via AD/LDAP connectors. All candidates must have the ability to maintain a TOP SECRET, SCI clearance and will be working within a secure facility near Buckley Air Force Base, in Aurora, CO.
Salary Range: $80,000 – $200,000
Qualified candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline, or equivalent technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience administering VMWare, provisioning virtual machines and securing them
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Windows server administration
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Active Directory management
- Possession of CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Linux system administration, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with MacOS system administration
- Network storage array management experience
- Demonstrated experience working with cloud resources, specifically Amazon Web Services focusing on VPC, EC2, Route53
- Demonstrated experience in VPN server administration
- Prior experience setting up and managing Ubiquity UniFi systems
