POSITION:
Teachers of Speech Improvement - Center for Assistive Technology (CAT) Team & D75 Assistive Technology Team Evaluators

LOCATION:
In-Person at Service School Site

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Current NYC DOE Licensed and appointed Teacher of Speech Improvement

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Satisfactory rating for current school year

• Must have at least 2 years of AAC Evaluation Experience

• Preference given to current members on the AT Team

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain necessary and timely records, including SESIS documentation
• Maintain accurate timekeeping documentation
• Timely submission of AT Training reports and related documents
• Communicate with parents/guardians to schedule services as needed and as directed by the Office of Related Services
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding strategies related to Assistive Technology implementation to support IEP goals
• Communicate with AT Team administrative staff in regard to scheduling of services and follow-up on progress
• Participate in orientation on date to be determined
• Participate in set-up of designated therapy space

WORK SCHEDULE:
The staff start date of Saturday Academy will begin with planning and preparation that can be completed remotely prior to start of Saturday Academy. Saturday Academy for students will begin on December 10, 2022, and end on June 17, 2023, from 8:30AM - 2:30PM, excluding the following dates:

• 2022: 12/24, 12/31,
• 2023: 2/18, 2/25, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 5/27

Staff are expected to work all the days they select to work during this time period.

Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.

SALARY:
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent Upon Funding Availability.
