The Surgery Aide duties to include but not limited to:
- Assists operating room personnel to provide an environment that is clean and safe for patient care
- Responsible for knowing supply inventory in Case Cart and OR Core areas
- Stocks surgery department with sterile and non-sterile supplies
- Works to supply the OR with supplies and equipment needed for cases
- Maintains a collaborative, service-oriented relationship with OR Materials staff, OR staff and surgeons
- High School Graduate
- 6 months of patient care experience required
- Surgical materials handling preferred
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
