Newrest is looking for a Supply Operator who will be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack, unloading merchandise from incoming freight, and moving it to the appropriate location in the production and storage areas. In this role, you will be working in an environment that may including sub-freezing, refrigerated and ambient temperatures. This individual ensures equipment is charged, properly maintained, and keeps the work area clean and organized.

Required Responsibilities:
- Flexible workstyle
- Load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or by use of material handling equipment.
- Accurately and safely unload trucks.
- Complete receiving documentation.
- Move goods to appropriate storage areas in a safe manner.
- Perform regular counts of stored materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock, distribution truck cab and cargo area.
- Complete daily quality and transfer logs for all product movement.
- Complete Daily GNP logs, and Forklift, EPJ and Truck Inspection sheets
- Work closely with the production department to ensure proper stock and inventory of needed materials.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and inspected according to operating procedures.
- Adhere to shipping policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Report potential hazards and unsafe work conditions to team lead, lead hand, or manager.
- Isolate damaged materials for inspection
- Perform daily counts of stored materials
- Regular and timely attendance is expected for this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including freezing temperatures
- Be able to understand documents, such as purchase orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
- Ability to work fast-paced
- Ability to show flexibility in working in various areas of the department
