As part of our Catalyst Business Unit this is an excellent cross-functional position where you will work with Planning, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Production, Quality, Logistics and Procurement to balance supply and demand by monitoring inventory levels, creating and issuing purchase orders based on demand, and be responsible for preparation and maintenance of NorAm site and tolling production schedules.



Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all activities, which includes inventory management, within the scheduling portion of production and/or tolling.

  • Manage the demand for procurement activities for all raw materials to be consumed in production processes

  • You will oversee stock availability (ROHs, WIPs, and FGs) through inventory reports and verification requests

  • You will manage priority lists for daily/weekly production resource availability

  • You are responsible for making recommendations to Operations for updates to BOMs and recipes for accurate data in SAP

  • Will maintain performance tracking for all production processes

  • Responsible for conducting weekly scheduling meetings with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics

  • Lead weekly backlog meetings with OTC, Quality, and Logistics to discuss current + 3 months forward sales orders

  • Responsible for weekly backlog report updates across all product segments

  • You will maintain write-off inventory stocks for monthly reporting and send to Team Manager

  • Direct all activities associated with production trials (ROH ordering, scheduling, BOM/recipe recommendations)

  • Keep active communication with SC Management, Planners, CSD, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Logistics

  • Responsible for green belt and cost-savings projects and activities as assigned by management

  • You will have participation in weekly scheduling team meetings

  • Supports in creation and maintenance of SOPs supporting supply chain initiatives

  • You will maintain Optimizer data and updates

  • Coordinate and manage Scheduling related RCAs and conduct projects as necessary

  • Initiate QNS complaints related to production and inventory issues



Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science or Business Administration from an accredited University/College preferred

  • HS Diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Scheduling experience will be considered.

  • 1 to 3+ years of experience with SAP/APO (Materials Management/Warehouse Management modules preferred) or other ERP/MRP systems

  • You should have strong PC skills, including Advanced MS Excel, ERP workflows, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Visio, and Share Point

  • Well-developed problem-solving and reasoning skills

  • Innovative and creative with strong planning and organizational skills

  • You should have the ability to investigate and interpret complex data sets

  • Customer-focused and service oriented

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • You must be adaptable to change
