JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the planning, procurement, storage, shipping, control, distribution of materials and products according to company needs.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:*

• Direct all activities of a 5-person purchasing team organized by commodity. (15%)

*
Oversee receiving, stockroom and shipping operations. (10%)

*
Manage inventories and establish targets. (10%)

*
Initiate and track cost saving. (10%)

*
Decrease obsolete and excess inventory. (10%)

*
Act as liaison between suppliers, customers, and production/operations. (10%)

*
Communicate with suppliers, production, and customers to reduce demand variations. (10%)

*
Identify and recommend actions to mitigate supply chain risks. (10%)

*
Physical Requirements:*
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management with background in purchasing electronics components.
• Experience in MRP environment is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
