Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Coordinator is a hybrid role that supports our Import/Export Compliance and Strategic Procurement functions at Flender Corporation. Within Import/Export you will facilitate accurate and timely movement of import/export shipments, via all modes, from origin to destination in compliance with company standards, customer standards, and US Customs and Border Protection. Within Strategic Procurement you will support Logistics Services, maintain procurement/material master records, and supplier negotiations. The candidate for this role must be experienced in import/export and/or procurement/purchasing or logistics.

This role reports to the Supply Chain/Logistics Manager

Import/Export responsibilities:

· Manage daily freight requests and exceptions including bookings.

· Obtain logistics quotes from carriers for domestic and international shipments.

· Process freight claims and ensure prompt and fair settlement.

· Manage freight bill payment process through a freight audit and payment service provider.

· Assign classification and PGA information to broker(s)

· Maintain tariff classification and duty rates in SAP/SKU repository.

Strategic Procurement responsibilities:

· Maintain supplier and material purchasing master data records.

· Execute supplier KPI reporting and scorecards.

· Support quoting and negotiation requests.

Required Skills

· Minimum 2-3 years of logistics or import/export, or supply chain experience.

· Basic knowledge of international and US government customs laws and regulations

· Basic knowledge of supply chain concepts and theory

· Microsoft Office 365

· Good organizational and analytical skills

· Able to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations.

Preferred Skills

· SAP experience in MM modules

· Advanced Excel or Data Visualization tools.

· Preferred experience in the industrial sector.

· Experience in a small-medium sized company environment strongly preferred.

· APICS Certification a plus (CSCP, CLTD, CPIM)
