Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc., a leading steel fabricator, is looking for Supervisors to oversee operations in our Delmar, Delaware and Federalsburg, Maryland structural steel fabrication shops. Supervisors are needed in the following areas:

• Industrial painting and blasting
• Structural steel fitting
• Structural steel welding

These supervisors will manage small groups of people and inspect welds, fabrication, or painting. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Must be a leader by example.
• Must have a safety-first mindset.
• Must be familiar with structural steel CNC processing equipment.
• Must have prior steel fabrication and welding or industrial painting experience, depending on the position.
• Must be able to teach and train new hires in safety and the necessary processes including reading blueprints and welding symbols.
• Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in structural steel fabrication, welding, or industrial painting.
• Must be able to take and give direction both verbally and from a written plan.
• Knowledge of loading trucks and the ability to drive a jockey truck is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are a must. Daily production must be communicated via verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to uphold all company policies and procedures and hold all employees accountable. This will entail dealing with different personalities of individuals with an unbiased approach.
