Patrona Corporation is looking for motivated individuals ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment and want to support Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
The Engineering Technician IV will work with our Submarine Maintenance Instruction Documents (MIDs) Test Plan Team located in Dover, NH.
Patrona Corporation is a DoD federal contractor providing program management, engineering, strategic and operational planning, quality assurance, financial management, and administrative support services.
Working remotely is currently not allowed under the contract.
Security Clearance

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Requires a high school education or GED equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant submarine maintenance experience and experience with submarine Test Procedure development and execution
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
  • Support the Submarine Test team in preparing, revising, researching, and implementing Test Procedures, Test Pressure Diagrams (TPDs), and associated documentation for existing and new submarine classes
  • Maintain the 688, 726, 774, 021 and, develop new Columbia class submarine Test Procedures including receiving and processing incoming change recommendation from various sources
  • Assist SUBMEPP engineers to review and evaluate Test Procedures and TPDs
  • Track changes for Submarine Test Procedures
  • Conduct routine technical and administrative work with SUBMEPP engineers, Test Plan managers, and TYCOMs via telephone and email as necessary
  • Document changes for the MIDs Submarine Test managers and maintain historical files of changes
  • Provide status of Submarine Test Procedure changes upon request from SUBMEPP
  • Participate in critical meetings and conferences as required

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with submarine maintenance on Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) submarine systems as well as Submarine Combat Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite software, including Access, Word, and Outlook, and an intermediate level of understanding in MS Excel. Basic understanding of AutoCAD is a plus
  • Experience with the Navy database and system documents/specifications
