This is a temporary, paid student internship opportunity with the Water Resources Department of the City of St. Petersburg. Work involves assisting the department on projects in environmental compliance, major capital improvements, and other related projects across various facilities with an emphasis on sustainability and resiliency. Work will primarily be assisting with these projects alongside experienced department team members but will also be exposed to other duties in the many divisions of the Water Resources Department.

Salary: $17.07 - $23.35 Hourly

To Qualify
Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:
  • Be a current or continuing student at an accredited college, university or technical college –or– a recent college graduate seeking to gain experience and knowledge about Water Resources.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and preferably high proficiency with Excel.
  • Be able to organize detailed information from multiple sources.
  • Be able to create written reports, summaries, and correspondences.
