Great Southern Homes, a regional homebuilder headquartered in Irmo, SC is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and energetic individual to join its team as the Strategic Marketing Consultant.

We are searching for an individual with 5 plus years’ experience in new home marketing. In this position, you will write, produce, create, coordinate, lead and supervise all facets of marketing to successfully market the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Strategic Marketing Consultant will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and some duties and responsibilities include:

• Work with the sales and marketing department to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers to the company’s homes and communities.
• Supervise a large digital presence including a comprehensive website that connects to several sources that feed inquiries to the sales team.
• Maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service.
• Research competitors to stay current with comparable products or services on the market. Conduct and present other research as needed to help drive the company’s sales and pricing of products.
• Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the marketing budget and the direction of the company. Prepare a monthly reconciliation of the marketing budget.
• Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of distinctive styles and strategies.
• Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards.
• Compose, edit, design, review and print various marketing collaterals for use in marketing the company’s products.
• Manage other marketing professionals both internal and external to the company and have them perform at top levels creating and producing innovative marketing programs, events and campaigns.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages a Marketing Coordinator who coordinates events for the company and assists in all facets of marketing for the company. Additionally, this position manages a number of outside marketing specialists who provide a wide array of marketing services.

Work Environment, Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Compensation

The company’s headquarters are located in Irmo SC. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Some travel may be required for this position.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
