Store Room Supervisor

The Store Room Supervisor oversees walk-ins and storage room. Receives all vendor deliveries, checks-in products, unpacks and stores all purchases and assists as Purchasing Supervisor for weekly inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take weekly inventory of all dining services supplies and food.
• Checks in, unpack and stores dry goods, cleaning supplies and cold stock, as needed.
• Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the food storage areas.
• Oversees and assists, when necessary, the cleaning of all food service areas and heavy equipment.
• Daily pulls frozen meats to be used on following days and returns unused items to freezer.
• Oversees cleaning of floors, refrigerators, freezers and storerooms.
• To perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for weekly ordering of all foods.
• Assist in special functions with food and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Covid-19 vaccination or willing to request exemption.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Background in food service purchasing, stock and inventory preferred.
• Must have general knowledge of cleaning and maintenance of kitchen refrigeration storeroom.
• Must have basic computer skills.
